ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 14, 2015) A U.S. Marine with India Battery, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, fires at his target during a deck shoot aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). The Marines zeroed their weapons to ensure they were s accurately. The 15th MEU, embarked on the ships of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
