JEBEL ALI, United Arab Emirates (October 06, 2015) – Sailors assigned to the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) participate in a basketball game during a community relations (COMREL) event at the American School of Dubai. Normandy is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
