U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the South Carolina National Guard's 124th Engineer Company, 122nd Engineer Battalion, speak about their road repairing mission on Botanical Parkway, in West Columbia, S.C., during a statewide flood response Oct. 14, 2015. Soldiers were tasked to clear the debris where the road collapsed due to high amounts of flooding in the area. The South Carolina National Guard has been activated to support state and county emergency management agencies and local first responders as historic flooding impacts counties statewide.
