Sailors participate in a firefighting drill on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). George Washington, the Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier, is participating in Annual Exercise, a yearly, bilateral exercise between the U.S. Navy and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
