Maj. Gen. Joseph J. Taluto, commander, 42nd Infantry Division, addresses more than 2,100 Soldiers of the 42nd Infantry Division during a Salute the Soldiers event at held at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, N.J., Oct. 9, 2004. The ceremony, which honored the Operation Iraqi Freedom Soldiers, was the largest held by the New Jersey National Guard with more than 4,000 family members attending the event. The 42nd is comprised of Soldiers from California, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
