Veterans from pervious conflicts and wars, all the way back to World War II gathered in the center of the field for a group photo with Maj. Gen. Charles Flynn and Allen Hoe, attorney of law and father of 1st. Lt. Nainoa Hoe who was killed in Iraq, after being recognized by the 25th Inf. Div., all the attending guest and fellow service members during the annual Pass in Review held on Weyand Field, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Oct. 8, 2015. Family, friends and past 25th Infantry Division Soldiers gathered on Weyand field to witness the annual pass in review ceremony to honor the Division’s 74th activation anniversary. The Division celebrated with a with week-long of sporting events between Battalions as they competed for the Guadalcanal Cup. The pass in review is a long standing military tradition dating back to when Baron Von Steuben arrived at Valley Forge and reported to Washington during the American Revolution in 1778. The 25th Inf. Div. pass in review was hosted by Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, commanding general, United States Army Pacific and Maj. Gen. Charles Flynn, commanding general, 25th Inf. Div.
