SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Oct. 10, 2015) – Explosive Ordinance Disposal Technician 2nd Class Craig Smith, assigned to Explosive Ordinance Disposal Mobile Unit 11, teaches civilians how to control a MK2 MOD 0 robot, Talon, during a Humanitarian Village showcase during San Francisco Fleet Week 2015. The San Francisco Fleet Week, now in its 35th year, celebrates the rich naval tradition in the Bay Area, honors our nation’s service members, and facilitates annual disaster preparedness training between the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and local first responders.
