U.S. Army Pfc. Mason Hunter, assigned to the 120th Area Clearance Brigade of the South Carolina Army National Guard, is state-activated to help fill sand bags needed for the damage to the Columbia Canal after the S.C. flood, Oct. 9, 2015. “It feels good to be able to help South Carolina,” said Hunter. The South Carolina National Guard has been activated to support state and county emergency management agencies and local first responders as historic flooding impacts counties statewide.
