Approximately 170 first responders from across Kansas met at Crisis City located near Salina, Kan., Oct. 6-9, 2015, to practice lifesaving techniques. The first responders received hands-on training on technical rope rescue, trench/confined space rescue operations, structure collapse rescue, vehicle & machinery rescue, K9 search operations, disaster medical operations and disaster response for the first responder tracks.
