Tyson, commander, U.S. 3rd Fleet, arrives to meet with local leaders at a Seniors Leadership Seminar reception and ship tour held on amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) during San Francisco Fleet Week. San Francisco Fleet Week, now in its 35th year, celebrates the rich naval tradition in the Bay Area, honors our nation’s servicemembers, and facilitates annual disaster preparedness training between the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and local first responders.
