ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 7, 2015) U.S. Marine Sgt. Drew Renwick fires at his target during a deck shoot aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Renwick is a mortar chief with India Battery, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The Marines practiced different pivoting drills as well as shooting on the move in order to enhance their marksmanship skills. The 15th MEU, embarked aboard the ships of the Essex ARG, is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Anna Albrecht/Released)
