Kosovo Force soldiers from the U.S., Poland and Switzerland take off running at the start of a U.S. Army 10-Miler Shadow Run, Sept. 27, 2015, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. This was the first Army 10-Miler Shadow Run held on Camp Bondsteel, with more than 100 participants, including U.S. Army Soldiers and civilians in Kosovo, as well as Polish and Swiss service members. The race was hosted by the Multinational Battle Group-East Southern Command Post, known as Task Force Hurricane, made up of U.S. Army aviation Soldiers from California, Connecticut and Florida. MNBG-E is a U.S.-led element of NATO’s KFOR peace support mission in the region, currently serving as the 20th rotation of NATO troops since the late 1990s.
