Airmen from the 455th Expeditionary Aerial Port Squadron wait to unload a Multipurpose All Terrain Vehicle from a 747 Nov. 9, 2009. The M-ATVs support mounted patrols, reconnaissance, security, convoy protection, communications, command and control and combat service support. The M-ATV is designed to replace the up-armored Humvee in Afghanistan.
