150923-N-ZZ999-001 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 23, 2015) - Builder 2nd Class Ben Reed, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, takes measurements of 2-inch anchor chain to determine the level of deterioration. UCT 2's Construction Dive Detachment Charlie (CDDC) is conducting routine inspections of fleet moorings for Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka. CDDC is on the second stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
