PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (Sept. 29, 2015) Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii Commanding Officer Capt. Dean Tufts presents a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (Gold Star in Lieu of Third Award) to Builder Second Class (Seabee Combat Warfare) Reynaldo A. Castro Sept. 29 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The award is for “professional achievement while serving as Builder Shop Supervisor and Crewleader for NAVFAC Hawaii and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) from September 2012 to September 2015. Castro’s superb work ethic and dynamic leadership of seven personnel on six construction projects and 150 work requests delivered exceptional quality with zero mishaps while addressing mission critical operational requirements for JBPHH and tenant commands.
