150924-N-DH124-012 FORT HUNTER LIGGETT (Sept. 24, 2015)- Steelworker 3rd Class Trent Carney, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, mans the .50-caliber machine gun during an entry control point watch at the Logistics Staging Area in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., during the 2015 Field Training Exercise (FTX), Sept. 24. During FTX, troops demonstrate how to engage mock attackers using the M4 and M16 rifles, the M240B and MK2 .50-caliber machine guns and the MK19 grenade launcher, to more than 100 evaluators from Naval Construction Group (NCG) 1 and Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC).
