The celebrated Logan-Duffy trophy that honors the best rifle marskmanship team between two competing historic Army National Guard infantry regiments, the 69th Infantry from New York and the 182nd Infantry from Massachusetts. The two legendary Irish military organizations first formed bonds of camaraderie during the American Civil War and first gathered in a rifle match in 1936. This year's event was held at Camp Smith, New York on October 3 with the infantrymen of the 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry besting their competitors from the 1st Battalion, 182nd Infantry to retain their championship title for another year.
