Cpl. Joseph Wallace, a mortarman with Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, overlooks as Pfc. Benjamin Knopp and Pfc. Victor Gonzalez, also mortarman with Weapons Co., 3rd Bn., 3rd Marines, conduct lower body strikes aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii on Sept. 30, 2015. Wallace, a Bethany Beach, Del., native is a black belt Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor, and met with junior Marines from his unit to instruct them in proper MCMAP techniques.
