(September 29, 2015) – Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, Rear Admiral Christopher Grady, presents USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) Supply Department Officers with a Logistics Readiness Excellence award. Additionally, Rear Admiral Christopher Grady addressed the crew and presented a Safety Award to the amphibious assault ship. Iwo Jima is currently in an11-month maintenance availability.
