USS San Juan (SSN 751), accompanied by two South African submarines, the SAS Charlotte Maxexe and the SAS Queen Modjadji 1, sails into False Baym, South Africa. San Juan is currently making an historic visit to South Africa in order to conduct various maritime pursuits including regional security cooperation activities, military-to-military exchanges and community relations activities.
