150926-N-DV340-008 PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 26, 2015) – Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Myles Williams inspects the rotor on a MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter from the “Blue Hawks” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 78 in the hangar bay aboard aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). Washington is preparing to deploy around South America as a part of Southern Seas 2015. The eighth deployment of its kind, Southern Seas 2015 seeks to enhance interoperability, increase regional stability, and build and maintain regional relationships with countries throughout the region through joint, multinational and interagency exchanges and cooperation.
