Pedro Helicopters “00” and “01” approach Miller’s Landing at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Sept. 25, 2015, where they will be joined by Pedro “02” for their final flight into Marine Corps history. These HH-46 search and rescue helicopters have been a visible symbol of the Marine Corps’ tight-knit relationship with the eastern North Carolina community for decades.
