    Small Unit Leadership

KUIWAIT (Aug. 22, 2015) U.S. Marine Cpl. Meagan Lee is a warehouse clerk with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s command element. As a warehouse clerk, Lee is responsible for tracking and delivering gear to units in need. “You get to meet and interact with all types of people, seeing all sides of the Marine Corps and what kind of gear they use. It’s a good feeling and something you usually don’t get a chance to experience.” Her professionalism and handling of supplies shows the importance of small unit leadership. Elements of the 15th MEU are ashore in Kuwait for sustainment training to maintain and enhance the skills they developed during their pre-deployment training period. The 15th MEU is embarked on the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
