    Retired Chief Warrant Officer 3 Carmen Cole, vice president of Montford Point Marine Association Chapter 32, and Master Gunny Sgt. Carrol Braxton, retired Montford Point Marine, attend a formal gala at The Clubs of Quantico, Va., Sept. 12. The themed event titled A Commitment to make a Difference preserves and protects the legacy of the Montford Point Marines. Chapter 32 hosts many community outreach projects to include: adopt a highway and feed-the-hungry, to include visits to the local nursing homes, veteran hospitals and churches. The nonprofit veteran’s organization hosts events to create camaraderie, goodwill and spirit de corps, both locally and nationally.
