Members of the Central Military Commission salute as U.S. Pacific Command Commander, U.S. Navy Admiral Robert F. Willard and General Xu Caihou, the Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Liberation Army, make their way to the Nimitz-MacArthur Pacific Command Center during the honors ceremony at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, Nov. 2. Xu recently visited Washington, D.C., and met with Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates before visiting U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii.
