A crowd of thousands watches as a World War II-era Douglas C-47 Skytrain aircraft circles Houtdorperved Drop Zone as part of the 71st Anniversary of Operation Market Garden in the Netherlands, Sept. 19. Paratroopers from U.S., U.K., the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Poland also conducted parachute jumps that day on the historic drop zone, commemorating the largest airborne operation in history.
