U.S. Army Spc. Robert Contreras of Houston, attached to the 789th Explosive Ordinance Disposal Company, carries munitions to be destroyed during a controlled detonation operation at Forward Operating Base Delta, in southern Iraq, Oct. 31. The 789th EOD conducts controlled detonations to destroy munitions seized in raids and those found in weapons caches.
