Alonzo Smith, CJTF-OIR command sergeant major, signifying III Corps assuming command of the organization in a Transfer of Authority ceremony held in Southwest Asia. The coalition task force is comprised of 60 nations aimed to degrade and destroy Da'esh in Iraq and Syria; and also build force capacity of the Iraqi Security Forces.
