Specialist Octavio Acevedo, a protective security detail specialist with 82nd Airborne Division, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, steadies a M249 machine gun while wearing a M50 protective mask at Fort Bragg, N.C., Sept. 21, 2015. Acevedo is one of eight soldiers competing in hopes of taking first place in the U.S. Army Forces Command Weapons Marksmanship Competition M249 machine gun category.
