U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Dog Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, hide their vehicles along a heavily shaded road from notional in-direct mortar fire during Exercise King Strike had in the town of Panevezys, Lithuania, Sept. 22, 2015. The bilateral exercise involved the 173rd Airborne Brigade’s NATO allies, Lithuanian Land Forces King Mindaugas Hussar Battalion (KMHB), who role-played oppositional forces during the 72-hour exercise. This training event will improve both countries’ ability to operate as a combined force, which increases NATO’s ability to deter aggressors. (U.S. Army Photo by Sgt.
