KUWAIT (Aug. 28, 2015) U.S. Marine Cpl. Jeffery Salois aims at a target while conducting mechanized squad attacks in an urban environment. Salois is a team leader with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. During the training, Marines learned how to incorporate an M1A1 Abrams tank in squad attacks in an urban environment. Elements of the 15th MEU are ashore in Kuwait for sustainment training to maintain and enhance the skills they developed during their pre-deployment training period. The 15th MEU is embarked with the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and are deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
