Tech. Sgt. Paige C. Wroble, vocalist for The United States Air Force Band's jazz ensemble Airmen of Note, performs during a rehearsal of the United States Air Force Tattoo themed "The U.S. Air Force: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow," on Sept. 16, 2015. A native of Broadalbin, N.Y., Wroble's career in the Air Force began in 2003. Before joining the Air Force, Wroble attended the Schenectady County Community College, where she was the featured vocalist with the jazz ensemble, the vocal chamber ensemble and the empire jazz ensemble. She continued on to Maryville College in Maryville, Tenn., where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in vocal performance. The Air Force District of Washington commemorated the U.S. Air Force's 68th birthday with the official ceremony on Sept. 17 with a celebration of music, drill and ceremony, aircraft, and fireworks on the Air Force Ceremonial Lawn at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.
