DEVESELU, Romania (Sept. 14, 2015) - Local media cover Naval Support Facility (NSF) Deveselu Commanding Officer Capt. William Garren tour Deveselu School’s new kindergarten following a ceremony held for the first day of school, Sept. 14, 2015. The new kindergarten was constructed using humanitarian assistance funds from U.S European Command, and coordinated by the U.S. Office of Defense Cooperation, and the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest. NSF Deveselu has an ongoing relationship with the school and Sailors regularly participate in activities with students. NSF Deveselu is the first Aegis Ashore Missile Defense Facility in Europe and is Phase II of the European Phased Adaptive Approach to ballistic missile defense. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt.
