Senior Airman Jake Sorosiak and Staff Sgt. Samuel Kimple, weapons loaders from the 180th Fighter Wing, upload an Air Intercept Missile, commonly referred to as an AIM9 or sidewinder, to be loaded on an F-16 Fighting Falcon Sept. 15, at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. About 120 Airmen from the 180th FW traveled to Tyndall to participate in the Combat Archer exercise, a weapons system evaluation program designed to test the effectiveness of our Airmen and air-to-air weapon system capability of our F-16s and other combat aircraft. Training allows our pilots to provide a vital link for the defense of our country.
