Col. Arno Bischoff, 1st Expeditionary Civil Engineer Group commander, runs towards the finish line to complete his 10K ruck run during the 2015 Air Force Marathon Forward, Sep. 13, 2015 at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. This will mark seven years of U.S Air Force deployed location races overseas at seven operating bases in theater. The first Air Force Marathon was held in 1997 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Since then, each marathon has been held the third Saturday of September, with an aircraft chosen each year to represent Air Force history in flight. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Staff Sgt.
