Army Capt. Anthony Odierno, joined by Michelle Obama, Jill Biden and Lawerence "Yogi" Berra, threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the first game of the World Series at Yankee Stadium, N.Y., Oct. 28. Odierno, son of the commanding general of Multi-National Force-Iraq, lost his arm when attacked on a patrol outside Baghdad in 2004. The ceremony honored military veterans. Berra served in the Navy during World War II.
