Ruark at an event to mark completion of the initial construction phase for the Harris Creek oyster restoration project, Tilghman Island, Md., Sept. 15, 2015. Harris Creek is one of the world's largest oyster restoration projects, and the interagency team has restored more than 350 acres of oyster reef habitat through reef construction and seeding. The interagency team consists of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District; Maryland Department of Natural Resources; National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; and the Oyster Recovery Partnership.
