Army Sgt. Maj. Bennie B. Nunnally Jr., senior enlisted adviser, Army Reserve Engagement Team-Japan (ARET-J), shares his personal story on why he continued his military career as a noncommissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserve with Japan Ground Self-Defense Reserve Component (JGSDF RC) candidates and service members Sept. 8, 2015, at Camp Zama, Japan. ARET-J invited JGSDF RC interpreter candidates to Camp Zama to converse with native English speakers while learning more the Army Reserve and its role in supporting U.S. Army Japan’s training missions and bilateral engagements.
