Army Staff Sgt. Travis Lausier, veterinary technician of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa's 353rd Civil Affairs Functional Specialty Team, cleans the teeth of Hektor, a Djiboutian K-9 working dog, while he is still under anesthetic in the Expeditionary Medical Facility, Oct. 23. Hektor's surgery was to test for cancer due to an abnormality. The surgeons neutered Hektor to prevent future surgeries. Lausier is a native of Caribou, Maine.
