Justin DeVanna, Camp Lemonnier veterinarian, and Petty Officer 1st Class Alana Carlson, hospital corpsman, radiology technician with Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, positions Hektor, a Djiboutian K-9 working dog, for an x-ray in the Expeditionary Medical Facility, Oct. 23. Hektor will undergo surgery to test for cancer due to an abnormality. DeVanna is a native of Tallmadge, Ohio, and deployed from Ft. Buchanan, Puerto Rico. Carlson is from San Diego, Calif.
