VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Sept. 12, 2015) Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Hillary Tabor, assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), ties a silver ribbon on the wrist of a Lincoln Sailor to represent the loss of Yeoman 3rd Class Ryan Alfaro to suicide during the Out of the Darkness Community Walk held to raise awareness for suicide prevention at Mount Trashmore. Lincoln is currently undergoing a Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH) at Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries.
