U.S. Army Sgt. Ashley Snyder, an Army Reserve military police officer from the 363rd Military Police Company out of Grafton, W.V., and assigned to Multinational Battle Group-East, reads background information about the passage of the 19th Amendment to support women’s rights during a Women’s Equality Day event Aug. 30, 2015, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Women's Equality Day is observed each year as a Department of Defense special observance commemorating American women achieving full voting rights under the U.S. Constitution by passage of the 19th Amendment on Aug. 26, 1920. This year’s commemoration event at Camp Bondsteel took on a global perspective for Multinational Battle Group-East, which includes forces from several nations. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
