Capt. Kritharan Subramaniam of the 33rd, Royal Artillery Regiment, Malaysian Armed Forces, runs through a course after being sprayed with a can of Oleoresin Capsicum (OC), during Non-lethal Weapons Executive Seminar 2015, Sept. 11. NOLES is an annual exercise hosted by U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific and is the U.S. Pacific Command's premier multilateral theater security cooperation event for non-lethal weapons. Non-lethal weapons and tactics provide options for U.S. Marines and partner nation militaries while operating in the full spectrum of warfare. The Field Training Exercise portion is the first part of the training which ends with a leadership seminar hosting senior leaders from more than 20 nations. This is the 14th iteration of NOLES.
