SEMBAWANG, Singapore (September 10, 2015) Aviation Machinist’s Mate 2nd Class Michael Pena, assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 35, Detachment 3, aboard the littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3) dismantles a spindle of an MH-60R helicopter, from HSM 35. Currently on a 16-month rotational deployment in support of the Indo-Asia-Pacific Rebalance, Fort Worth is a fast and agile warship tailor-made to patrol the region’s littorals and work hull-to-hull with partner navies, providing 7th Fleet with the flexible capabilities it needs now and in the future.
