Romanian school children paint a basketball post at a local high school during a community event on Kogalniceanu, Romania, Sept. 3, 2015. U.S. Marines and sailors with Black Sea Rotational Force volunteered to work with the school children to restore fences, clear out tall grass and weeds, repaint a basketball court, and add a new walkway between classrooms. The event gave service members an opportunity to interact with the local community and to instill a sense of pride and confidence in the students’ abilities to take charge and accomplish their goals.
