150905-N-GM561-301 PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 5, 2015) A Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) 44, assigned to Assault Craft Unit Five (ACU-5), approaches the well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) during well deck operations. Boxer is currently underway off the coast of Southern California participating in DB-15. DB-15 is a multinational training exercise being conducted by Expeditionary Strike Group 3 (ESG-3) and 1st MEB to build U.S., Japan, Mexico and New Zealand’s amphibious, and command and control capabilities through live, simulated, and constructive military training activities.
