150831-N-ZZ999-499 LIEPAJA, Latvia (Aug. 31, 2015) - Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 2nd Class Dave Salman, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 8, sets a demolition charge to countermine 210 pounds of World War II-era German 240 mm projectiles that were pulled from a shipwreck outside of the harbor in Liepaja, Latvia, Aug. 31, as part of Baltic Partnership 2015. Baltic Partnership 2015 is a mine countermeasures (MCM) engagement between Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and United States MCM divers to clear World War II-era ordnance from the Baltic Sea.
