Public affairs Marines tour the New York Stock Exchange, Oct. 20, while attending the East Coast Media Symposium. The week-long workshop develops commanders' confidence with on-camera interviews and provides them a chance to talk to national journalists about their embed experience. The symposium is designed to develop a more open relationship between Marine units and the press by talking to Marine leaders about the importance and role of the media.
