Spc. William R. Welch, a military police Soldier with the 304th MP Company of Bluefield, W.Va., moves out to board a helicopter headed to rural Kitgum, Uganda. This detachment of MPs from the 400th MP Battalion is providing force protection and security for U.S. Army Africa's Natural Fire 10, a partnership exercise with Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania and Rwanda. Natural Fire is an opportunity for these East African nations and the U.S. military to train side-by-side and work together on a humanitarian assistance mission.
