Staff Sgt. Shawn Scott, a squad leader with Company D, 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division (Advise and Assist Brigade), provides security while his platoon assists with a detainee release in Fallujah, Iraq, Sept. 23, 2009. Though his platoon is trained to destroy tanks, as part of the Army's first advise-and-assist brigade, the platoon has had extensive training in a variety of security-force assistance missions.
